About The Position

R. J. Corman Railroad Company is seeking a Track Crew Member to join our team in Dayton, TX. This role involves inspecting, installing, and maintaining railroad track in an industrial yard setting. The position requires completing all job duties safely and efficiently, maintaining required documentation, and promoting a safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Complete required job duties safely and efficiently.
• Railroad construction experience preferred.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions.
• The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions.
• Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull with confined spaces.
