About The Position

Success Academy is a growing network of public charter schools in New York and Florida, committed to providing a rigorous, whole-child education. They are seeking results-driven Elementary, Middle, and High School Sports Coaches to join their community. The role involves being part of a motivated team focused on education reform, parent choice, and building exemplary schools. Coaches will collaborate with network peers to develop a world-class athletics program, inspire a love for sport, encourage critical thinking, coordinate family meetings, and receive ongoing feedback and support from leadership.

Requirements

Experience coaching youth and/or collegiate teams
Advanced understanding/experience of Track and Field, Cross Country, and Long-distance running
Able to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner
Able to develop/teach concepts such as teamwork, healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship
Possess a demonstrated track record of propelling students’ understanding and love of sport
A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy (a background in education is not required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for learning and commitment to student development
Ability to work in person in New York City
