About The Position

This position is part of a team responsible for executing the FNV3.x Electrical Platform across all programs. The role focuses on managing Platform hardware and software delivery across all domains, integrating the needs of individual vehicle programs into an optimized enterprise solution. Specifically, this role supports the Core Platform Cabin Controls and Layout for FNV3.x, managing Electrical Platform Hardware and Software Delivery, with an emphasis on Platform Controls and HMI bundles that cover Motion, Body Control, Infotainment (IVI), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and their applicability for applications and cloud. The Tech Platform Program (TPP) team collaborates with the Core Tech Platform Program team, Electrical Architecture teams, Technical Program Management, and Vehicle Programs, aligning with Connected Vehicle Software and Global Technology Strategy initiatives. The individual will be responsible for managing various aspects of platform delivery throughout the Platform’s lifecycle and across vehicle programs, including Program Platform Deliverables, Timing, Cost, Investment, Quality, Resource Modeling, Hardware Bundle Complexity, Feature Bundle Execution, and Software complexity. The role also involves driving a fundamental change in Ford’s approach to Electrical Tech Platform execution, moving from vehicle-specific solutions to a cross-program Platform delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Execute FNV3.x Electrical Platform execution across all Programs.
  • Manage Platform hardware and software delivery across all domains.
  • Incorporate the needs of individual vehicle programs into the platform through optimized enterprise solutions.
  • Focus on supporting the Core Platform Cabin Controls and Layout for FNV3.x.
  • Manage Electrical Platform Hardware and Software Delivery, focusing on the Platform Controls and HMI bundles which span Motion, Body Control, Infotainment (IVI), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and the applicability for applications and cloud.
  • Partner with the Core Tech Platform Program team, Electrical Architecture teams, Technical Program Management, and Vehicle Programs and be in lockstep with Connected Vehicle Software and Global Technology Strategy initiatives.
  • Manage Program Platform Deliverables, Timing, Cost, Investment, Quality, Resource Modeling, Hardware Bundle Complexity, Feature Bundle Execution and, Software complexity across vehicle programs and throughout the Platform’s lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate a passion for changing Ford’s approach to Electrical Tech Platform from vehicle-specific solutions to a cross-program Platform delivery.
