As a Benefits Plan Administrator, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, claims administration, or customer service
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and other business applications
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and data entry accuracy
  • Accident & Health, Life & Fixed Annuities License required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Third-Party Administration (TPA) experience
  • Experience administering HRA, MERP, FSA, COBRA, HSA, or other employee benefit plans
  • Knowledge of IRS and HIPAA regulations related to consumer-driven health plans
  • Experience working within benefits administration or claims processing systems
  • Professional phone, written communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience supporting employee benefits clients and participants

Responsibilities

  • Process HRA/MERP, FSA, and HSA claims accurately and within established service standards
  • Review claims according to client-specific plan designs and eligibility requirements
  • Maintain benefit plans, participant information, plan configurations, and electronic payment information
  • Deliver responsive customer service through phone and email communications with participants and employers
  • Research and resolve claim discrepancies, reimbursement questions, and payment issues
  • Partner with insurance carriers, clients, Account Managers, and internal teams to support plan administration
  • Prepare reports and requested documentation while maintaining accurate records and workflows
  • Assist with new client implementations, plan changes, enrollment activities, and other administrative functions as needed
