About The Position

KCI Technologies is seeking an experienced Tower Foreman to lead a crew on wireless tower construction projects, including new tower builds, collocations, modifications, and equipment upgrades. Experience with Verizon Mods and NSD is a plus. The role is responsible for daily site construction efforts, overseeing site operations, maintaining paperwork and equipment, and ensuring safety and quality requirements are met. The foreman coordinates with customer representatives, manages site closeout documentation, and leads, guides, and trains crew members. The position may require work on weekends or nights, in extreme weather, extensive travel, and work away from home or outside the local market. Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to climb towers over 100 feet tall while carrying a 50-pound load.
Ability to crouch, kneel, and twist throughout the workday.
Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
Organizational, computer, and communication skills.
Ability to provide, record, and manage paperwork using tools such as Excel and Word.
Active smartphone with the ability to install and support apps as needed for customer and KCI support.
Ability to lead, teach, and train others in proper work and safety procedures.
Ability to maintain required certifications.
Availability to work weekends and/or nights and in extreme weather conditions when necessary.
Willingness to travel extensively and work out of market or away from home as work demands.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment; motor vehicle checks may be required based on the position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Verizon Mods and NSD.
High school diploma or GED.
Job-related certifications such as First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector Attachment.

Responsibilities

Lead a crew on wireless tower construction projects, including new builds, collocations, modifications, and equipment upgrades.
Oversee daily operations and construction work efforts at assigned sites.
Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and crew, and manage records using tools such as Excel and Word.
Implement job instructions provided by leadership.
Ensure safety and quality-control requirements are followed at sites and by the crew.
Compile site-specific closeout documentation and upload it to customer interfaces.
Coordinate site activities with customer representatives and maintain good working relationships with them.
Provide leadership, guidance, and active training to crew members, including instruction in proper work and safety procedures.
Keep equipment and vehicles operational and maintain responsibility for company-provided vehicles, equipment, materials, and customer-provided materials.
Keep work areas and vehicles clean.
Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
Maintain DOT logbooks if applicable.
