Tow Truck Operator
About The Position
Seeking an operator to join our family owned and operated company. This position offers both part-time and full-time availability. The role involves driving a truck in various weather conditions, learning towing and vehicle retrieval techniques, completing daily logs, and being available for on-call duties, which may include nights and weekends. Flexibility is key for on-call hours, requiring prompt response to calls and immediate departures when needed. Responsibilities also include some call-taking during non-office hours and maintaining a clean and equipped truck. This job is commission-based, with potential earnings of $600-$1000+ per week, depending on shift availability and work ethic.
Requirements
- Clean driving record for 3 years. No at fault accidents or tickets of any kind.
- Valid Idaho drivers license.
- Clean background.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a truck in all weather conditions.
- Learn through training how to tow, tie down, and sometimes roll over and retrieve cars from challenging places.
- Complete daily logs for jobs completed.
- Be on call some nights and weekends.
- Answer the phone and leave at a moments notice during on call hours.
- Take calls during non office hours.
- Keep and maintain a clean and equipped truck.
