About The Position

Copart, Inc. is seeking skilled and dedicated Class C tow truck drivers. Copart drivers bring in autos (mostly damaged) from shops, tow yards, and private residents to local Copart locations. Drivers will also have the opportunity to travel nationwide to aid in catastrophe response situations, including responding to hurricanes, flooding, natural disasters, and supporting other Copart locations nationwide. Requirements

Class C driver's license
Must meet background screening criteria
Must possess a Driver's License issued by your state of residence
Travel will be required including traveling by airplane at times
Must be able to work long hours 12+ hours per day when needed
Be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice
Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.

Nice To Haves

Previous towing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Must be willing to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods of time
Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed to do so
Pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facility
Load/unload vehicles safely and free of damage
Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
Commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism
Maintain Hours of Service logs
Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily operations
