About The Position

Copart connects vehicle sellers to over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The company is seeking skilled and dedicated Class C tow truck drivers. Copart drivers transport vehicles, primarily damaged ones, from various locations to Copart facilities. Drivers also have the opportunity to travel nationwide for catastrophe response, including hurricanes, flooding, and natural disasters, as well as support other Copart locations. Copart offers competitive pay and benefits in the towing industry, with a piece rate-based pay system that allows for potential annual earnings of $75,000+, with top performers earning $100,000+.

Requirements

• Must meet background screening criteria.
• Must possess a Driver's License issued by your state of residence.
• Previous towing experience preferred.
• Class C driver's license.
• Must be able to work long hours (12+ hours per day) when needed.
• Must be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.
• Willing to travel nationwide, including by airplane at times.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods.
• Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed.
• Pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facilities.
• Safely load/unload vehicles without damage.
• Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism.
• Maintain Hours of Service logs.
• Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily operations.
