About The Position

As a Tours Department Manager at Jungle Jim’s, you will be the senior explorer guiding new and eager adventurers through one of the largest International markets in the world. This role involves meeting people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and ages while creating a fun, educational experience for everyone. Requirements

Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills with large groups exceeding 40+ Guests.
Schedule entails flexible hours.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer, math, and data entry skills.
Ability to travel to the Eastgate location for training and occasional meetings.
Comfortable with email and learning new programs.
Must pass a required criminal background check.
Must be 18 or older.

Nice To Haves

Public Speaking.
Adequate knife handling skills.
Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
High energy, professionalism, and organizational skills are all necessary traits for this position, as the role serves as the face of the company for every tour and scavenger hunt.

Responsibilities

Work the floor alongside staff to set an example, promote a positive environment, and stay in touch with employees and customers.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Oversee training for all employees in your department.
Identify coaching opportunities to help employees continuously improve so they can continue to grow professionally and personally.
Process paperwork and perform clerical and administrative tasks.
