About The Position

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is hiring 70 Tournament Poker Dealers for the 2027 Moose International Texas Hold'em Tournament, taking place January 11–14 at the resort. The position pays $18 per hour. Dealers deal live poker games and poker tournaments, follow department and property rules and procedures, and help maintain an accurate, fair, and welcoming gaming environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to deal games according to rules, regulations, and standards.
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external guests.
Ability to obtain a Nevada State Gaming Card.

Responsibilities

Deal live poker games and poker tournaments according to applicable rules, regulations, and standards.
Follow department and property rules and procedures.
Greet, interact with, and assist staff professionally and respectfully.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere for guests and team members.
Maintain the integrity of the game.
Understand the rules and procedures of table games and marketing communications offered.
Maintain game speed and accuracy by moving the action appropriately and recalling and repeating betting rounds.
Assist with poker-room cleanliness, appearance, and overall conditions.
Report suspicious or unusual activity and transactions to a supervisor or manager promptly.
Respond to guest and staff inquiries clearly and positively, providing accurate information and assistance.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
