About The Position

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of dispatch experience required.
  • Two (2) or more years of customer service and administrative experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and demonstrates initiative.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to maintain sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Computer experience required (MS Windows, Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate degree (A.A) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Using proprietary booking software (Gantt) to schedule tours and coordinate customer requirements with Guides.
  • Assigning tours to Guides based on priority guidelines, passenger numbers, and pick-up locations, rotating tours, and scheduling Guide breaks.
  • Coordinating tour departures by distributing passenger manifests to Guides and addressing last-minute issues, ensuring special requirements are noted.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the dispatching of tour pick-ups, acting as a communication hub between guides, customers, the Sedona Contact Center, and hotel staff.
  • Monitoring and maintaining communication with vehicles.
  • Serving as an escalation point for customer issues.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures accurately and thoroughly.
  • Demonstrating a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and job knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
