About The Position

Pink Jeep Tours is seeking a Shuttle Driver to join their team in Las Vegas. This role involves partnering with the Tour Guide to prepare the vehicle for tours, driving guests from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon West Rim, and potentially serving as a relief driver. The Shuttle Driver will also provide excellent customer service by shuttling guests to points of interest within the West Rim using the Pink Jeep Trekker, and maintaining communication with the Tour Guide and office for any changes in pick-ups or drop-offs. Other duties may be requested by management. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

22 years of age.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
Pass a background screen.
Excellent driving record.
Good communication skills to interact with guests and other employees.
Effective time management, prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities.
Professional conduct.
A good team player who is self-motivated and takes initiative.
Mobility to include walking, climbing, and sitting 11 hours.
Consistently and carefully inspects, operates, and cleans their vehicle – repetitive motion involves: climbing in and out of the vehicle, reaching overhead and across at chest level, bending from the waist.
Ability to push, pull, lift or stack items up to 40 pounds at ground level, and 25 pounds overhead.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees either face to face or using handheld radio.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to perform the job (vehicles, tablets, computers, and radio units).
Ability to reach overhead, squat, bend, and walk up and down stairs throughout the day.
Ability to use and be around a variety of cleaners and chemicals necessary for vehicle maintenance and general cleaning.
Ability to be outside for long periods in all varieties of weather and temperatures.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Tour Guide to inspect and prep the vehicle for the tour.
Drive with the Tour Guide and guests from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon West Rim.
May be a relief driver for the drive up to and back from the Grand Canyon West Rim.
Provide exemplary customer service while picking up guests at the West Rim and shuttling to points of interest using the Pink Jeep Trekker.
Maintain radio contact with the Tour Guide and office if needed for changes to pick-ups and drop-offs.
Any other duties as requested by management.
