About The Position

The HR Total Rewards Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the organization's total rewards programs, including compensation, payroll, and employee benefits. This role ensures that all programs are compliant, competitive, and aligned with the company's strategy to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The manager will lead a small team and serve as a subject matter expert for payroll and benefits operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR with a focus on payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP, Workday, Paycom) and HRIS tools.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws, tax compliance, and benefits regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with Finance to reconcile payroll data and ensure accurate reporting of payroll costs.
  • Manage payroll audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting.
  • Review and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, etc.) and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Lead annual benefits enrollment and vendor renewals.
  • Analyze utilization data and recommend changes to optimize cost and employee satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with insurance brokers and benefits vendors.
  • Support the design and administration of compensation structures and incentive programs.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Maintain job grading and salary band frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records in HRIS systems.
  • Prepare regular reports and analytics on total rewards metrics (turnover cost, benefits utilization, compensation ratios, etc.).
  • Supervise and mentor payroll and benefits staff, ensuring high standards of performance and service delivery.
  • Partner with HR team and line managers to address employee queries and issues related to pay and benefits.
