About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards Lead to join our North America Performance & Reward team. In this highly visible role, you will help shape and deliver programs that attract, motivate, retain, and engage employees across North America. You'll serve as a trusted partner to leaders, employees, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders while supporting Orica's health, welfare, remuneration, and wellness programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • 7+ years of U.S. health and welfare plan administration and program management experience.

  • 5+ years supporting employee wellbeing and wellness programs.
  • 5+ years of remuneration(compensation) experience.
  • Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, and Dayforce.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee health and wealth programs for the assigned region, country, or business segment in partnership with the global/regional Performance & Reward team and Regional P&R Manager.
  • Support benefits integration and harmonization activities for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Partner with vendors, carriers, brokers, and benefit providers to improve program effectiveness, service delivery, and efficiency.
  • Participate in governance committees supporting health, welfare, and retirement programs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional Performance & Reward teams on wellbeing and workforce engagement initiatives.
  • Manage leaves of absence, including Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) programs.
  • Oversee workers' compensation programs in partnership with the SHES team and third-party administrators.
  • Support employee recognition and service award programs.
  • Ensure timely reporting, filings, contributions, and compliance activities across benefits and retirement programs.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to implement and enhance employee programs.
  • Serve as a key resource for employee questions and issues related to benefits and health and wealth programs.
  • Work with vendors to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including Form 5500 filings, audits, non-discrimination testing, ACA reporting, and other statutory obligations.
  • Support annual salary planning, compensation reviews, bonus administration, and related reporting.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, employee experience, and cost management.
