About The Position

Flagstaff Bone & Joint is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified, fellowship-trained total joint/reconstructive surgeon to join our respected private orthopaedic practice in Flagstaff, Arizona. The role offers immediate physician support, no hospital orthopaedic trauma call, a strong outpatient surgery platform, and a defined partnership trajectory across the practice, ASC, and real estate. This is an exceptional opportunity for a fellowship-trained hip and knee reconstructive surgeon to develop a high-quality elective practice in Northern Arizona within a physician-led orthopaedic practice that offers clinical autonomy, strong operational infrastructure, and a meaningful path to long-term ownership. Focus: Adult hip and knee reconstruction, including primary and revision arthroplasty. No Trauma Call: No hospital trauma call responsibilities. Dedicated PA Support: The practice will provide a full-time PA to support surgical assisting, perioperative coordination, and related administrative needs. All PA costs will be covered by the practice prior to the surgeon entering the partnership track. Outpatient-Oriented: Our practice supports a robust outpatient surgery model, with other total joint surgeons typically performing approximately 75% of their procedures at our ASC setting. ASC Flip Day Blocks: The surgeon will have ample opportunities for weekly flip day blocks at our ASC, utilizing two OR rooms. Partnership Track: Includes participation in ancillary income, ASC distributions, and real estate ownership. Strong Support System: Work alongside experienced orthopaedic surgeons, PAs, NPs, therapists, athletic trainers, medical assistants, and a seasoned leadership team with deep expertise in surgical practice management and healthcare innovation. Our onboarding approach is intentionally structured to help new surgeons ramp efficiently while preserving the autonomy needed to build a successful practice. Schedule Flexibility: We do not impose rigid template-driven schedules or corporate micromanagement. You will have complete autonomy to design your clinical and surgical schedules as you prefer.
