About The Position

Community Hospital is a full-service, acute-care hospital, licensed for 60 beds, serving Western Colorado. Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, instrumental in the hospital's growth, serves as the exclusive Sports Medicine physicians for local high schools, Colorado Mesa University varsity and club sports, and the Grand Junction River Hawks hockey team. This group is an accredited Joint Commission Orthopedic Center of Excellence for Total Joint Replacement Surgery. As this service line grows, they are seeking an additional Fellowship Trained Total Joint Surgeon to support the western Colorado and eastern Utah regions.

Requirements

• Fellowship Trained Total Joint Surgeon.
• Trauma experience strongly preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Velys Robotic-Assisted knee replacement program.

Responsibilities

• Perform Total Joint Replacement Surgery for hip, knee, and shoulder.
• Support the growing service line in western Colorado and eastern Utah.
• Participate in a 1:7 call rotation.
• Provide care within a Level III Trauma Center.
