Torah Tours is a longstanding Yeshiva University initiative, entering its 52nd year, that brings groups of YU students to Jewish communities for Simchat Torah. The program creates meaningful connections between students and communities while giving students an opportunity to represent Yeshiva University, share Torah, and build relationships across the broader Jewish world. The Torah Tours Project Coordinators will co-lead the planning and execution of the program. Working closely with Rabbi Ari Rockoff, the Coordinators will oversee communication with participating communities and students, manage the application and matching process, and help ensure that each group is thoughtfully assembled and well prepared for a successful Simchat Torah experience. The primary focus of the role will be student recruitment and engagement. The Coordinators will be expected to bring fresh energy and creativity to outreach, beginning around orientation in mid-August and continuing through the application period. This may include campus outreach, tabling, targeted communications, outreach through student leaders and alumni, and other recruitment strategies. The Coordinators will have access to existing Torah Tours promotional materials and will help identify opportunities to strengthen recruitment, communications, and program infrastructure through thoughtful use of available resources and targeted budget requests.
