Job Summary: B&A is looking for a Release Train Engineer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) facilitates Agile Release Train (ART) processes, ensuring coordinated delivery across teams supporting enterprise COTS applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field/major
  • OR Two (2) additional years of IT experience without a degree.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a SAFe RTE, Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master.
  • At least one (1) year as an RTE supporting enterprise COTS applications.
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and key Agile/SAFe ceremonies
  • Ability to coordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams
  • Strong skills in identifying and removing impediments to team progress
  • Experience driving continuous improvement within an Agile Release Train
  • Knowledge and application of Agile and SAFe principles
  • Ability to align ART execution with business and mission strategy
  • Experience supporting enterprise COTS applications in an Agile environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across cross-functional teams
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must hold and an ACTIVE ACTIVE Top-Secret Clearance either with an SCI or SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL v3 certification.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer certification.
