Top-Level Deck Mariner Subject Matter Expert
About The Position
PenBay is seeking a Top-Level Deck Mariner Subject Matter Expert to provide full-time support. The role assesses mariner training courses. The candidate must hold or have held a U.S. Coast Guard-issued Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) endorsed as Master of Unlimited Tonnage upon Oceans or Chief Mate of Unlimited Tonnage upon Oceans, and have at least five years of sailing experience on that credential. Requirements
- Must hold or have held a U.S. Coast Guard-issued MMC endorsed as Master of Unlimited Tonnage upon Oceans or Chief Mate of Unlimited Tonnage upon Oceans.
- At least five years of sailing experience on the qualifying credential.
- Minimum of eight years of professional experience; ten years preferred.
- High school diploma; a BA/BS with a maritime curriculum is preferred.
