About The Position

This is an entry-level apprenticeship program for individuals interested in becoming Tool & Die Makers, Machinists, or Wire EDM specialists. The company provides all necessary training for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to learn a high-demand trade. No prior experience is required, but a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential. The apprenticeship involves learning to build precision tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges, operating various machinery, reading blueprints, inspecting parts to tight tolerances, and performing machine maintenance. Apprentices will work alongside experienced professionals in a climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Interest in machining, tool & die, or manufacturing
• Willingness to learn blueprint reading and precision measurement
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Build precision tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire EDM equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Inspect parts to extremely tight tolerances
• Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Work alongside experienced toolmakers in a climate-controlled facility
