Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000/QS 9000 and SQF
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience in injection molding
  • Experience related to quality testing, inspection, & measuring of plastic parts
  • Ability to properly start/shut down injection molding machines and support equipment including robots
  • Ability to accurately follow both written & verbal directions

Responsibilities

  • Inspection & cleaning of all molds
  • Assist Toolmakers with internal repairs & mold evaluations
  • Inspection of molds after external repair/test runs
  • Maintain mold boxes and skids
  • Assisting with crating/uncrating tolls & components
  • Update mold maintenance databases
  • Prepare written reports when required
  • Participate in department projects as needed
  • Personal Safety and following all Safety Rules
  • Housekeeping and other duties as assigned
