This Tooling Technician role supports the tooling program at the Jersey Shore, PA facility, involving installation, removal, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of both mold press tooling and trim press tooling. The technician must be proficient with tooling and machining measurements, capable of using various measuring devices, and operating machining equipment like bench grinders, surface grinders, and CNC machines. The role requires the ability to follow schedules, work independently, perform intricate assembly and disassembly of complex tooling, and work in elevated temperature environments for mold cleaning. It demands meeting the physical requirements of a 12-hour shift, including prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and moving heavy dies or molds. The technician will also use computer programs for documentation and record-keeping related to tooling changes. While previous experience with machine tooling is preferred, the company is willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mathematical and equipment comprehension.
