About The Position

Join a High-Performance Manufacturing Team. We are looking for a Tooling Technician to support injection operations by ensuring tooling is clean, functional, and production-ready. This role is critical in reducing downtime, supporting production flow, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and keeping production running smoothly, this is the role for you. This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM at the Eastlake Facility.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
  • Sense of urgency and awareness of production downtime
  • Attention to detail in inspection and documentation
  • Reliability and strong attendance
  • Ability to work well with operators, engineers, and supervisors
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of injection press operations (wax injection a plus)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures
  • Ability to lift and handle tooling/materials safely
  • Standing for long periods throughout shift
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to stay focused in a physically active environment

  • Wax injection experience

Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to tooling and production issues to minimize downtime
  • Assist with die setups, changeovers, and production readiness
  • Clean, inspect, and prepare tooling during production stoppages
  • Identify and document tooling needing repair or maintenance
  • Communicate issues with supervisors, leads, and engineering teams
  • Support operators with proper tooling care and maintenance
  • Inspect parts for quality and ensure compliance standards are met
  • Maintain 6S organization and safety standards
  • Track tooling activity using Gage Track system
  • Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble dies
