About The Position
Nemera is seeking a Tooling Technician to maintain all tooling and support production with mold repair/maintenance operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing processes for complex drug delivery systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience in mold making, mold design, and/or mold processes
- Mechanical aptitude
- Microsoft Office and Engineering software computer skills
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
- Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds.
- Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing.
- Create work orders for service of all molds and maintain records as required.
- Coordinate the implementation of solutions for needed repairs.
- Verify molds are production ready; advise production and engineering of the condition of molds.
- Train others on the operation of equipment in the Tool Repair department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
