About The Position

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Tooling Technician for their Ellisville, MS location. This role involves developing and maintaining a consumable tooling inventory system across multiple departments, managing tool inspection, storage, organization, and disposal records. The technician will also coordinate with vendors for tooling supply and delivery, interpret technical drawings, generate purchase requests, and facilitate the tool disposal process. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to forecast tooling demand based on customer forecasts and purchasing tools as needed are key aspects of the role. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
More than seven (7+) years of related experience
2+ years’ experience with support processes/inventory control
Proficiency with MS Office & Oracle/related database software
US Citizen/US Permanent Resident required

Responsibilities

Develop a consumable tooling inventory system & upkeep across multiple departments
Responsible for tool incoming inspection, storage, organization, and record keeping for disposal
Support communication with vendors to coordinate tooling supply & delivery
Accurately read and interpret technical drawings
Generate purchase requests across multiple departments
Facilitate tool disposal process through documentation & customer communication
Work with multidisciplinary team to generate tooling demand based on customer forecast
Correspond with internal and external teams to purchase tools as needed
Maintain safety and quality focus in all tasks
Must be safety-oriented and quality-focused
