Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of manufacturing experience required.
Proven experience in jig and fixture design.
CNC machine tool experience.
Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems (NQA‑1, ISO‑TS, AS9001).
U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract security requirements.
Ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize jigs and fixtures for machining, welding, assembly, and other critical production processes.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and ensure all tooling requirements are flawlessly executed.
Oversee tooling fabrication, assembly, and testing—from concept through implementation.
Maintain clear, accurate documentation for all tooling packages.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in machining methods, fixturing strategies, tooling/coatings, coolant applications, material considerations, and Lean manufacturing practices.
Manage projects with ownership and accountability, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Support and uphold all company policies, safety standards, and security requirements.
