About The Position
The Tooling Engineer will manage sourcing and deployment of new or upgraded tooling required to achieve throughput targets. This role involves close collaboration with local engineers and design teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in tooling design and implementation in automotive or trucking environments.
- Strong knowledge of tooling systems and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent vendor management and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify tooling requirements for throughput expansion projects.
- Source and coordinate procurement of new or upgraded tooling.
- Oversee tooling installation and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with design engineers and local teams to validate tooling performance.
