EEO/M/F/D/V ENGINEER, TOOLING DESIGN Research, designs, repairs and develops, with minimal guidance, a wide variety of tooling for company products. Oversee development of state-of-the art, new and modified systems. Works closely with other engineering areas and customers to obtain optimum utilization of equipment. Follows parts from concept through development and into production. Assignments require original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems. Documentation of Project Scope, Development and Results Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a mechanical engineering field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, concepts, practices, and theories.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and course work in dynamics and strength of materials.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with 3D design software and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of GD&T
• Strong problem solving abilities

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
• Strong ability to present technical subjects to customers.
• Excel in use of SolidWorks and all the Microsoft Office products.
