About The Position

The Tooling Attendant is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all extrusion tools and providing production with tooling in a timely manner. This role involves managing the issuance and receipt of tooling, routing tools to appropriate workstations, and efficiently storing them. The attendant will also stage tools for upcoming production line changes, handle production work orders, and ensure the work area is organized and clean. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Forklift (Reach truck) skills required.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel/Word/Windows).
• Safety and quality oriented.
• Willing to develop technical knowledge.
• Multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive tooling to and from production.
• Route tooling to proper work stations.
• Store tooling efficiently and accurately.
• Stage tools for upcoming production line changes.
• Handle all production work orders.
• Keep area organized and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
