About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with mold disassembly and assembly. Functions include moving molds, taking apart plates and components, cleaning parts, reassembling, pin changes, configuration changes, and performing preventative maintenance (PMs). Cleaning involves sandblasting, lubricating, and using solvents. The role also includes general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, trash removal, cleaning plastic from molds and equipment, and maintaining an orderly work area by keeping walkways and aisles clear. Employees may perform other duties based on skill and availability when primary work is not available.

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ work experience
• 40 hour work week
• Basic computer skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience in a Mechanical environment
• Self-Starter

Responsibilities

• Assist with mold disassembly and assembly
• Move molds
• Take apart plates and components
• Clean all parts before reassembling
• Perform pin changes and configuration changes
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Sandblast and lubricate parts
• Clean parts utilizing a solvent
• Follow the preventative maintenance program
• Protect parts from damage and store them in correct drawers
• Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping and trash removal
• Clean plastic from molds and equipment
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Keep walkways and aisles clear
• Perform other duties as assigned when primary work is not available
