About The Position

Tool Room Technician/Machinist Position Overview We are searching for a new member to join our Thunderbird Molding Team in Greensboro NC. The tool room tech/machinist will be experienced and understand the tooling manufacturing position and must process basic knowledge of machining related to plastics/injection molding. Requirements

Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
Basic knowledge of all types of tooling and gauges.
Experience with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
Should be capable of reading micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, comparator, indicators, etc.
Good problem-solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality.
5+ years experience in injection molding
Basic workbench skills.
Proficiency in manual machining skills.
