About The Position
Apache Workforce is hiring a Tool Room Attendant / Safety Coach to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing tool inventory, issuing equipment to employees, and supporting workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Ability to mentor and guide employees on safety practices
- Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal required)
- Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory
- Receive and log new tools and equipment into inventory
- Schedule and track preventative maintenance for tools and equipment
- Maintain documentation for reporting and compliance purposes
- Assist in enforcing safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
- Report safety and environmental concerns to the EHS Manager
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and safety boards
- Support ongoing development of safety programs (PPE, fire prevention, emergency action plans)
- Perform other duties as assigned
