About The Position

Under limited supervision, performs work of minimal difficulty in the repair and maintenance of tools and equipment. Responsibilities include understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy (Employees | Value | Execution | Relationship). The role involves pulling and restocking rental items and performing other related duties as assigned. The ability to operate forklifts safely is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or One to three years of related experience and/or training
  • Must be able to operate forklifts safely.
  • Must be able to follow all PPE requirements.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
  • Must be able to operate forklift safely and complete forklift safety training.
  • Requires strong project management skills, analytical and negotiations skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • General diagnosis and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and small gasoline engine operated tools and equipment a plus but not necessary.
  • Leadership experience in a field environment.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Some tools are company supplied but applicant will need to have some of their own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs tools and equipment to include maintaining and repairing rental trailers, equipment and tools used in the electrical power industry.
  • Diagnoses and repairs customer tools and equipment.
  • Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Pulls and loads orders of rental items for distribution to and from customer.
  • Must be able to operate sit down and stand up forklifts/pallet jacks.
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, governing agencies and the public.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
