About The Position

The Tool Repair Estimator provides administrative services by creating and coordinating the estimates for tooling repairs and assists customers with facilitating the processing of their tools being repaired. Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by reviewing incoming tool repair requests and preparing repair estimates for customer approval. You will contact customers by phone or email to discuss repair costs and obtain authorization to proceed with repairs. You will also be responsible for entering and maintaining repair orders, estimates, and customer information in SAP and Salesforce. Assisting in prioritizing repair work for the Tool Repair Technicians based on customer needs, turnaround expectations, and workload is also a key part of this role. You will track the status of tools through the repair process and provide updates to customers as needed. Coordinating with team members to ensure repair orders are processed accurately and efficiently, and assisting with shipping and receiving documentation to support the movement of tools through the repair process are also expected. Responding to customer questions regarding repair status, pricing, and expected completion dates, and maintaining organized records and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time are crucial. Supporting a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment while helping deliver excellent customer service is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Microsoft Excel
