About The Position

You will be the Tool Planner / Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2) for the Tool Planning & Manufacturing Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for planning, execution, and continuous improvement of tooling assets across multiple programs. As the Tool Planner / Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2) you will be responsible for translating engineering intent into actionable work‑instructions, embedding inspection and test requirements, and managing tooling data flow in PLM, ERP, and MES systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate effectively
High attention to detail
Knowledge of tool design
Microsoft Office experience
General knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes
Experience with PLM, MRP, & ERP systems is preferred
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

Experience with MPMLink (Windchill)
Experience with SAP
Experience with Apriso
Experience with manufacturing and shop floor support
Knowledge of basic manufacturing terminology (BOM, routing, work order, revision level)
Familiarity with GD&T
Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with being a team player
Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

Develop detailed operation sequences and standard procedures for tool and equipment fabrication.
Embed inspection, test, and verification steps into each production plan.
Coordinate buy planning and procurement activities for tooling assets.
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure design intent is reflected.
Provide data‑driven feedback to improve future tool designs and planning accuracy.
