About The Position

We are seeking a Tool Onboarding Engineer to support a major U.S. Air Force digital engineering engagement. You will be responsible for Tool Onboarding, bridging the gap between technical capability and real-world adoption. This role is ideal for someone who understands data platforms and enterprise tools but is equally focused on user experience, stakeholder engagement, and driving measurable outcomes. You’ll work directly with program teams and end users to ensure new tools are not only deployed but fully adopted and delivering mission value from day one. This role may require up to 25% travel.

Requirements

• US Citizen with an active Secret DOD clearance
• 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence
• 3+ years of experience leading data platforms implementations
• Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

• Top Secret clearance
• DoD or Air Force enterprise system experience

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and implementation of data platforms, tools, and enterprise systems
• Translate user needs into practical, scalable workflows and configurations
• Deliver role-based training, onboarding materials, and user support
• Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption and align tools to mission objectives
• Track usage, adoption metrics, and user feedback to inform improvements
• Identify and resolve friction points to enhance user experience and efficiency
• Collaborate with technical teams to refine features, integrations, and data flows
• Support continuous improvement through iterative enhancements and user engagement
