About The Position

Build the Future of Semiconductor Manufacturing. At Intel Foundry, you'll help deliver some of the world's most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Working alongside engineers, suppliers, construction teams, and manufacturing partners, you'll play a key role in equipment installation, qualification, and factory readiness that enables next-generation technology. This is an onsite position requiring presence at the work location five days per week. As a Tool Install & Qualification Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, installation, and qualification of semiconductor manufacturing equipment while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or related field with 1+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience.
  • Associate's Degree related to semiconductor manufacturing and 3+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years experience specifically in EPI, Diffusion, Anneal, Implant, Spatial/ALD install or deinstall.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions with limited information and drive execution.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and project milestones.
  • High ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • Tool installation, qualification, startup, or factory ramp experience.
  • Experience working with OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive tool installation and qualification activities from equipment delivery through startup and readiness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, OEMs, and contractors to meet critical installation milestones.
  • Develop and manage installation schedules, pull plans, and execution strategies.
  • Ensure facility, utility, and equipment readiness to support successful startup and qualification.
  • Participate in design and constructability reviews to identify risks and improve installation efficiency.
  • Resolve installation issues, drive root-cause problem solving, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Capture lessons learned and share best practices to improve future installation and qualification efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with Intel safety, cleanroom, quality, and site requirements.
