About The Position

The Tool Install Project Manager will serve as a Client Representative, bringing a background in industrial manufacturing facilities, specifically within semiconductor equipment installation. This role demands expertise in managing advanced technology manufacturing equipment installations and a commitment to contributing to project success and meeting client needs. The position is based on-site in Santa Clara, CA.

Requirements

• Technical degree in a relevant field and related experience with a proven history of success.
• Direct experience managing scope, schedule, and budget, interfacing with Tool Owners, Equipment Engineers, A&E, GC and Trades contractors for semiconductor tool install projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in semiconductor Tool Install Project Management roles with effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Client’s Tool Installation Procedures, Protocol and Systems to support the continuous improvement of Client-specific Technical Infrastructure business practices/ operations and business needs.
• Interface and align/coordinate with the requirements of the Client’s Tool/ Equipment Engineers to support the needs of the Client’s requirements, enabling them to focus on business priorities while the Tool Install Manager focuses on Tool Installation.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for current and proposed future Tool Install Ramps, while managing EHS metrics in line with the Client’s business expectations.
• Provide Progress Reports including RISK metrics/mitigation and progress, schedule and cost performance KPIs, and Planned V’s Actual forecasts.
• As Client’s Representation, be responsible for all aspects of the Client’s Tool Install with the support of the Client’s extended support Team including Procurement and Leadership (Escalation).
