We’re looking for a detail-driven Tool Inspector II who takes pride in making sure every product that leaves our doors meets the highest standards of precision and performance. In this hands-on, mission-critical role, you'll be the last line of defense before our equipment reaches our valued customers. You'll verify that every component and assembly meets stringent dimensional and documentation standards. You'll witness product testing, conduct detailed visual inspections, and work side-by-side with engineers, operations teams, outside suppliers, and even customer representatives to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A minimum of three (3) years inspection related experience.
  • Ability to work on-call 24 hours for 7 consecutive days.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain the equipment used in the daily performance of their activities.
  • Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
  • Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, according to applicable procedures and/or work orders.
  • Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
  • Organize tasks and responsibilities in a manner that maintains production output standards.
  • Use time efficiently.
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Communicate effectively within and across departments.
  • Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of new and rental products.
  • Perform functional tests on piece parts.
  • Perform inspection of assemblies.
  • Perform visual Inspection of components and assemblies in accordance with applicable documents.
  • Work with customer inspectors in the examination of product.
  • Assist Engineering and Operations in the investigation of product failures.
  • Assist outside suppliers with problems related to subcontracted parts.
  • Assist in the training of other personnel as required.
  • Perform simple calibrations and maintain records for various tools, instruments, and gauges used in the manufacturing and inspection processes.
