Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Machining Equipment such as CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, Surface Grinder, Heat Treat Oven and Optical Comparator
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for Part Development as well as Modifications to Existing Dies/Parts
- Proficient in Blue Print Reading
- Proficient in the use of Precision Measuring Devices such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, etc.
- Proficient in Bore/Ream Holes, Schedule/Perform Heat Treatments, Grind Edges/Flats, Mill Slots/Pockets/Keyways
- Proficient in Indicating Object – Die Alignment
- Proficient in Machine Guarding including LOTO Procedures
- Participate & Contribute in Continuous Improvement Activities
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 10 yrs. Tool & Die/Machinist Experience Required
- G Code Programming Required

- Basic Welding Skills a Plus
- Certified Machinist Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform Preventative Maintenance Tasks on All dies – Including Fabricating Shims, Sharpening Critical Die Details and Polishing
- Fabricate/Machine Critical Die Detail Replacements to OEM Prints/Specifications
- Fabricate/Machine Precision Fixtures/Jigs to Support Manufacturing Process as Needed
- Fabricate/Machine Precision Parts for Machinery Repairs as Needed
- Fabricate/Machine Precision Parts for New Product Development as Needed
- Die/Press Trouble Shooting Skills for Problem Resolution
