This role involves leading and directing Toolmakers in daily activities and projects, ensuring equipment operates safely and meets manufacturer specifications. The supervisor will be a key liaison with customers and Die Shops for new tooling launches and changes, ensuring timeline and budget requirements are met. This includes attending die review and run-off sessions at die shops and Samuel facilities to ensure tooling meets standards and equipment specifications. The position also assists with die design, provides management with updates on tool builds and delivery, and supports the launch of new tooling at the SMP facility. Additionally, the role supports the Samuel Automotive Sales team in pursuing new business, processing customer requests, and obtaining cost information from die shops. The supervisor will manage the Die PM Program and support continuous improvement activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and 5S guidelines.
