Tool & Die Maker Department: Tooling Department Department/ Area: Tool & Die Maker Position Summary: Candidates are required to set up and operate major machining equipment including, conventional mill, conventional lathe, and surface grinder. Ability to operate an OD grinder and honing machine. Candidates are required to interpret blueprints/drawings; verify and accurately report on quality and quantity of work performed; maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience machining Carbide dies for forging processes is preferred and desired. Daily tasks: Interpret blueprints/drawings to create tooling. Set up and operate major machining equipment.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years in a tool room as machinist.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Basic English reading and math skills.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience machining Carbide dies for forging processes is preferred and desired.
Familiarity with the material carbide and Mastercam is a plus.
EDM knowledge is also a plus.

Responsibilities
