Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
5 + years of experience; willing to train the right candidate
Basic knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
Willingness to learn manual machining techniques and CNC operations
Ability to work with saws, grinders, lathes, and milling machines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T and precision measurements

Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, modify, and repair tooling, fixtures, and gauges to support production
Operate machines to produce quality parts
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Follow quality and production processes to meet aerospace requirements
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
Maintain and organize toolroom equipment, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
