About The Position
Mentor, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Plastic Extrusion Tooling & Die Designer or Engineer for plastic extrusion tooling & die design & development.
Requirements
- High School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree preferred)
- 4+ years' experience with extrusion designing tooling for plastic extrusion to include Rigid PVC, Flexible PVC, ABS, ASA, HDPE, LDPE, PP, TPRs/TPOs, PC and other engineered resins.
- CAD experience is required
- Must be able to troubleshoot existing tooling
- Familiar with operate die grinders, milling machines and lathes to modify existing and new tooling for single screw extrusion machines
- Familiar with vacuum sizing techniques
- Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
- Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
Responsibilities
