About The Position

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry is seeking a skilled Pattern Maker (Tool Room Machinist) to support their tooling and machining operations. This role involves machining and maintaining foundry tooling using aluminum, plastic, and tool steel. The position requires the ability to read and interpret prints and GD&T, program and run CNC equipment, and troubleshoot issues. The company has been in operation for over 115 years and is looking for experienced machinists who can create precision tooling from raw materials.

Requirements

• Experience with CNC mills and lathes
• Mastercam CAD/CAM experience
• Manual machining (Bridgeport mill, engine lathe)
• Strong mechanical ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Machine and maintain foundry tooling
• Work with aluminum, plastic, and tool steel
• Read and interpret prints and GD&T
• Program and run CNC equipment
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust as needed
• Support a variety of custom machining projects
