About The Position

Thor Motor Coach is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to join its Maintenance Department in Bristol. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The attendant supports employees at the tool crib window by distributing and tracking tools and supplies, maintaining inventory and computer records, receiving and processing shipments of non-production items, and handling related paperwork. Some tool repairs and other miscellaneous duties may also be required.

Requirements

• Flexibility.
• Good organizational and people skills.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of tools and tool crib supplies.
• Strong computer skills.
• A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees at the tool crib window by handing out and tracking tools and supplies.
• Assign tools as needed.
• Maintain accurate computer records of tools and tool issues.
• Check in incoming supplies, put them away, and process the related paperwork.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inventories.
• Perform some repairs on tools as needed.
• Maintain inventory of necessary tool crib items.
• Receive shipments of non-production goods and items.
• Process non-production goods and items as they are received into the plant.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
