About The Position

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for providing inventoried parts and other supplies to our maintenance and production teams as requested. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, responsibility of processing receivers, executing inventory transactions, cycle counting, confirming inventory accuracy and general housekeeping. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

Valid driver's license to become forklift certified
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Previous forklift experience
Prior industrial, commercial and/or automotive storeroom experience
Strategic sourcing experience
Inventory control/management experience
Associate’s degree in business or related field
