About The Position

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance. WWPS is seeking MULTIPLE highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Tool Coordinators to join our growing team in Chandler, AZ on a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing construction project. Successful candidates will have demonstrated construction project management success with previous experience working directly with trade contractors, OEMs, and project teams. You must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, and able to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Candidates’ work history should reflect increasing levels of responsibility on a progressive basis. Semiconductor experience is required, and experience in tool deinstallation and decommissioning is highly valued. Local candidates are preferred. Multiple positions are available immediately. The Tool Coordinator is responsible for the direct execution, oversight, and coordination of all activities related to tool installation, readiness, and operational support within the project lifecycle. This role ensures that all tasks are completed according to schedule, quality, safety, and protocol requirements, and acts as the primary point of accountability for tool-related deliverables. The position requires collaboration with trades, vendors, project managers, and other stakeholders to drive project success and resolve constraints in real time. Experience in deinstallation and decommissioning is highly valued. This role requires proactive problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage logistics, materials, and tool readiness activities in a controlled cleanroom environment.

Requirements

  • Level 1 : 4+ years of direct experience in tool installation support in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or cleanroom construction environments.
  • Level 2 : 6+ years of direct experience in tool installation support in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or cleanroom construction environments.
  • Level 3 : 10+ years of direct experience in tool installation support in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or cleanroom construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction, tool installation, and startup processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with project tracking software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under schedule-driven conditions with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in tool deinstallation and decommissioning is highly valued.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee tool installation, hookup, qualification, and turnover activities in alignment with project milestones.
  • Receive, inspect, and log all materials and tool components using the site’s inventory management system; verify packing slips, quantities, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams, OEM representatives, and install crews to ensure timely, just-in-time delivery of high-value equipment and components.
  • Maintain accurate, auditable inventory records and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling procedures.
  • Track shipments and backorders; proactively communicate delivery status, tool readiness, and material availability to project leadership.
  • Facilitate pre-installation reviews, readiness checks, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor daily tool installation progress; identify and help resolve field-level constraints in real time.
  • Support deinstallation, decommissioning, and relocation of existing tools as required.
  • Review and verify installation documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, trades, and vendors to drive safe, efficient, and quality execution.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all tool and logistics activities.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support project success.
