Requirements

Ability to follow instructions to the letter
Excellent attention to detail
Self-driven and self-motivated
Ability to manage area and responsibilities with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent math skills
Mechanical aptitude
English language required
Oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to operate in a team environment

Responsibilities

Clean, inspect, assess, store, maintain inventory, and assemble die parts as required in advance to produce quality monofilaments.
Follow work instructions to prepare and maintain sufficient supply of spin finish
Conduct inspections of plant safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eye wash, etc.) and complete documentation required for these inspections.
Conducts and records month-end inventory for the Extrusion Dept.
Use the jig hoist(s) in the die room to safely and efficiently move heavy die housings
