This is a 3rd Shift role (Sunday-Thursday 11:00PM- 7:00AM) with 10% shift differential pay. The role involves constructing, modifying machine shop tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Work with engineers and tool designers to develop tools. Work from blueprints, specifications and diagrams. Checks work with instruments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Follow written or verbal directions.
  • Read printed materials.
  • Work within Team Environment
  • Visual and Hand Dexterity
  • Sit and Stand for long periods
  • Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Machine Tool or Mold/Die background (CNC mill, lathe, surface grinder)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain molds.
  • Modifies, calibrates plastic injection mold tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
  • Repair or manufacture parts to maintain production tooling/molds.
  • Confer with engineers, production, and others to resolve tooling related problems.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixture, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, EDM's, lathes and grinders.
  • Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
  • Perform general maintenance on Toolroom equipment.
